Terms of Service

Last updated August 28, 2026

Itematize is operated by RestCore LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using itematize.com or portal.itematize.com (the “Service”), you agree to these terms.

What the Service is

Itematize helps you build a personal property inventory for an insurance claim. You describe what you owned, by voice or by typing, and the Service organizes it into an inventory with photos, documents, and exportable reports. One purchase covers one property and one loss event.

Price and term

The Service is a one-time purchase of $299 per property. It is not a subscription and nothing renews automatically. Your purchase includes 24 months of access from the date of purchase. After your access ends, your account becomes read only: you can still sign in, view, and download your inventory, report, and spreadsheet, but not add or change items. We email you before your access ends. Payment is processed by Stripe; if you choose a pay over time option at checkout, your agreement for those payments is with that lender.

Refunds

If something is wrong, email support@itematize.com and a real person will work it out with you. Refund requests are reviewed individually.

Your content

Your inventory, photos, documents, and recordings belong to you. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process them in order to provide the Service, and to share them with the people you explicitly invite to your claim. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to advertise to you.

AI assistance

The assistants (Tony and Anna) use artificial intelligence to identify, describe, and estimate the value of items from what you tell them. AI makes mistakes. Descriptions, categories, and estimated values are drafts for your review, not appraisals, legal advice, or insurance advice. You are responsible for reviewing your inventory before submitting it to your carrier, and for the accuracy of anything you submit.

Sharing your claim

You may invite other people, such as family members or an adjuster, to view or edit your claim. You control who has access and can remove anyone at any time. You are responsible for who you invite; anyone you give edit access to can change your inventory.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to submit information you know to be false to an insurer, to infringe anyone’s rights, to probe or disrupt the Service, or to access anyone else’s data. We may suspend accounts that do. Insurance fraud is a crime; the Service is a tool for documenting what you actually owned.

Data lifecycle

After your access term ends, your data enters a retention lifecycle: read only first, then archival, and eventually deletion, with notice to your account email before anything is removed. You can export everything at any point before deletion, and you can request earlier deletion by emailing support@itematize.com.

Disclaimers and limits

The Service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not your insurer, your adjuster, or your lawyer, and we make no promise about the outcome of any insurance claim.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to your account email. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Questions: support@itematize.com.
